The GDMuseos project is based on the methodology of? Development Groups, having as objectives the promotion of autonomous collaborative learning, creating useful materials for society and using ICT as essential tools.
As a practical application of it, the GDMuseos project is developed, in which students from the previous centers will create materials, using the methodology of Development Groups for the following museums: Museum of the Sewer Garden, Arqva Museum of Cartagena, Archaeological Museum of Murcia, Museum of Santa Clara, Museum of the City and Museum of Science and Water.
GDMuseos is born after the success of several projects developed by this institute during the courses 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018;
innovative projects and awarded by the Ministry of Education and Universities of Murcia that used active methodologies and gamification, enhancing the motivation and academic performance of students.
The GDMuseos project has three central axes: Encouraging collaboration, to promote the project dialogues and synergies through the joint work of several educational centers in the Region of Murcia and abroad, Ireland and Colombia, and enjoy the potential of the museum as learning space.
The student visits the museum, researches in it different aspects from all the subjects of the school curriculum and develops his creativity through the elaboration of materials destined to enrich this space.
And finally the gamification with learning through the game created by the students themselves making educational use of technology.
