Podemos is now in the process of setting up its governing bodies in the municipalities.
The sewage training of Sewer was among the first to complete the process in the Region of Murcia, after voting for its new Coordination Council in a plenary held yesterday in the Garden of Campoamor.
"It has been three very intense years of hard work," said the Secretary General, Arcadio Martínez Corrales, who highlighted initiatives such as taking the problem of air pollution from the municipality to the European Parliament, the continuous audit of the resolutions of the Mayor's Office and the close collaboration with all the collectives and associations of Sewer.
The new Coordination Council is formed by the recently re-elected Secretary General and by seven other advisers, three men and four women, and will lead Podemos Alcantarilla for the next eighteen months.
It is a directive with an average age of about thirty-five years and that integrates various profiles, from a professor at the University of Murcia to an entrepreneur.
Today the Coordination Council will meet for the first time to plan the new political course, which will be marked by the municipal, autonomous and European elections of May 26, 2019.
We can Alcantarilla part thus with firm step for these elections.
"We have a united team, motivated and prepared to exercise municipal government, with alliances or alone," said his Secretary General.
