Yesterday afternoon there was a new meeting of the Sewer City Railway Commission, where all the municipal political groups and the train platform of our municipality are represented.

The only item on the agenda of the meeting was the information from ADIF technicians about the situation of the project to draw up the high-speed line on its way through the Sewer.

The call was made by the Mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, last Friday after receiving the previous night a message from WhatsApp of the Government Delegate in which he said "Next Tuesday, the 24th at 5:00 p.m., there will be 3 Adif technicians in Alcantarilla.

To report everything that is necessary both to you, as to the rest of the municipal spokespersons as well as to representatives of neighborhood platforms and associations.

I send you a message so you can notify all of them tomorrow, Friday. "

The General Secretary of the Popular Party, Juan Antonio Mata, criticizes the way this new Government Delegate has proposed meetings that are not part and address important issues for Sewer.

He also points out that the Mayor had to explain to Conesa that the City Council had had for years with a Railway Commission, that this was the forum that ADIF technicians could go to and that this would be convened.

The meeting of this commission with ADIF was already called for the Monday of the week in which there was the cessation of the previous ADIF President, which is why the meeting was suspended.

Yesterday, at the meeting of the commission, in addition to three ADIF technicians, also attended the Government Delegate, accompanied by a large number of people who said accompany him, members of the Government Delegation, regional deputy PSOE and Socialist Party collaborators regional.

The Secretary General of the PP indicates that "there were more people who did not belong to the commission than members of the commission itself".

So much so that Conesa himself was calling people to come to the meeting of the commission, of which he is not even a member, as evidenced by certain Facebook posts.

The meeting was also attended by the General Director of Transport of the Autonomous Community after the invitation that the Mayor of Alcantarilla transferred to him on Monday, on understanding that the presence of the Regional Ministry of Development was interesting due to the involvement and negotiations that the Regional Government has carried out and carried out with ADIF and the Ministry of Development in relation to railway infrastructures throughout the Region.

The technicians of ADIF, although in a very professional way, did not bring anything new, they limited themselves to describe the project, in which they have been working for eight years, which all the members of the commission and all the residents of Sewer already knew since it was received. at the City Council in June and is in the process of public information.

Juan Antonio Mata makes it clear that after the meeting, which repeated the same positions of all, the Government Delegate proposed to study the proposal of the Socialist Party that he came to Alcantarilla to present a few months ago and that "would condemn to our municipality to continue as we are for many more years ", given that it would be necessary to return to the beginning of the works of eight years ago and to elaborate a new informative study that would take more than four years," to which we would have to add the uncertainty in the infrastructures in the Region to which the PSOE has accustomed us when it comes to power, "says the leader of the PP.

Remember that in the years 2012 and 2013, when the Town Hall of Sewer had to position itself and present allegations to the informative study of the project, both the Socialist Party and the current leader of Citizens were positioned in favor of the project as it is written today. .

The other option that shuffles the Delegate, "and I think it is the one that knows what is going to produce," says Mr. Mata, is to tender the section of the Sewer AVE along with the rest of sections from Murcia to Lorca .

And for that reason, yesterday it "dropped" with the fact that the project does not include the additional 520 meters of burial to which the previous Minister of Public Works committed during his visit to Alcantarilla (up to 996 meters total).

When he was told that this burial was agreed and planned in the project (as it appears in the project that is in public information) and that the Regional Government and the Ministry of Development had agreed to finance it at 50%, Diego Conesa dared to say that "The Government of Spain is not going to put even one euro for that, the City Council and the Community will have to do it."

"Without a doubt, the Government Delegate will want to wear a medal and have some justification when the project is approved, and it will be that what appears in it, after 8 years of work, has been his work", says the Secretary General of the PP.

Another bluff proposed by the Government Delegate was to improve the development land in front of Calle Término, already in the municipality of Murcia.

Some land in which it is contemplated to open a connection, under the railroad tracks, from Termino Street to the school of Las Tejeras, with a new street, sidewalks and pedestrian ramps.

"More smoke from the Government Delegate since it is already included in the project," says Mata.

In short, the Government Delegate, with a significant ignorance of the project, came to tell the Railway Commission what he already knew, to sell smoke, to generate uncertainty about the years it will take to have some improvement in the railway situation of Sewer , condemning us to continue as we are, or to make the Sewer City Council finance part of a burial work, when that local funding was not provided by the previous Minister of Development.

"I would prefer that it was the Minister of Development and the President of ADIF who spoke on these vital issues for Alcantarilla, and not a misinformed Government Delegate," the General Secretary of the Partido Popular in Alcantarilla said.
