Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 24, ADIF technicians will travel to Alcantarilla to inform the railway commission of the situation of the project for the integration of the High Speed ​​line in our municipality.
The existing project, whose preparation began in 2010 and is still awaiting bidding for its execution, came to the City of Sewer on June 5 and it contemplated the improvements that had been introduced in the same as the expansion in more than 500 meters of the underground section up to a total of 996 meters, the construction of a new and modern station equipped with parking, the suppression of the level crossing of the Camino de los Romanos, which will be accessible to pedestrians and vehicles, as well as the Flood tunnel of the Black Voice, the construction of a round at the beginning of Avenida del Aire and of two pedestrian overpasses, the continuation of the Estación de Lorca street, the construction of a lower passage, both for vehicles and pedestrians. to Termino Street to the Ejército del Aire Avenue, adding a new connection to the Las Tejeras neighborhood.
Similarly, on June 8, 2018 parcels affected by the expropriations for the execution of this project were published in the BOE.
The meeting will be attended by ADIF technicians, given the impossibility of assistance from its president, Isabel Pardo, will be of great importance for the future of the Lorca railway line according to what the Railway Infrastructure Manager will move tomorrow.
Due to this importance, last June, the Mayor of Alcantarilla requested a meeting with the new Minister of Development, José Luis Ábalos Marco, to analyze the railway situation of Sewer and to deal in depth with his problems.
