Yesterday at the Town Hall of Alcantarilla, the mayor Joaquín Buendía and the president of the SCAN Project Coordinating Association, Enrique Cruz Simón, have signed a collaboration agreement and maintain mutual interest in the development of a collaboration that allows the development of recovery therapy activities , training and socio-labor insertion for people at risk of social exclusion and, in particular, women victims of gender violence.
The SCAN Project Coordinating Association will develop, in the municipality of Alcantarilla, free of charge for the users of the project, psychological recovery therapy and training activities.
It will also develop training approved by the Regional Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia (SEF), for unemployed people at risk of social exclusion and particularly for unemployed women victims of gender violence, for which the City of Sewer will give free and with an extendable annual nature, the use of the adequate facilities to develop the own activities of therapy and training to the users of the Association.
The Sewer City Council will make available to the Coordinating Association Escan Project, the facilities of the former Livestock Market, authorizing the Association to manage on its own the registration in the electricity and running water services, and to equip it with the necessary equipment, with destiny to be used in the training tasks related to the training, as well as space for the accommodation of the dogs.
The use of this installation will be without time limitation.
At the same time it will provide a classroom equipped with fifteen computers, furniture and audiovisual equipment, to develop the corresponding training.
The classroom intended for this use, will be one of those managed by the Local Development Agency (in the Cultural Center Infanta Elena or the Official School of Languages) according to the availability at any time, and in the schedule (morning or afternoon) ) that best suits the Town Hall Sewer.
At the same time of any other installation (office, meeting room, etc.) that for specific needs requires the Association, always upon request to the City Council.
The use of the aforementioned facilities will be conditioned to the needs of the City Council.
In case of not being able to dispose of the facilities, the City Council will inform the Association with a minimum period of one month of such circumstance and will provide, to the extent of its possibilities, similar facilities for a new homologation of the SEF.
And any action that the Association intends to carry out for the modification or improvement of existing facilities in the former Livestock Market, must be previously authorized, and supervised during its execution, by the City Council.
The City Council is committed to removing and keeping clean of debris in the old Cattle Market, a minimum space of 5,000 square meters, being able to use and dispose the rest of the space freely.
