Buendía said that "in 2011 this long process began to define what would be the passage of the High Speed ​​line through the municipality of Alcantarilla, always seeking the best integration of the same with the city." Expansion in more than 500 meters of the underground section that goes from the Black Voice to the level crossing of the Camino de los Romanos.
With this extension, the burial will be 996 meters from the future new station to Termino Street.
Section that after the burial will be pedestrian.
Construction of a new and modern commuter station equipped with a parking of 50 seats as well as new accesses.
Continuation of the street Estación de Lorca on the underground line.
Thus providing a new access to the municipality.
Construction of an underpass, both for vehicles and pedestrians, continuing to Calle Término to Avenida Ejército del Aire, adding a new transit option in the neighborhood of Las Tejeras.
Construction of 2 overpasses for pedestrians from the Camino de los Romanos to Termino Street.

That constructive project was scheduled to tender his work this coming July.
