The Local Safety Board met in extraordinary session at the Town Hall of Sewer, to discuss the topics of the agenda, all of them related to the public safety of our municipality, it was chaired by the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, participating by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the general director of Citizen Security and Emergencies, José Ramón Carrasco, of the Delegation of the Government, José Luis Herrero, together with the chief inspector of the Police Station of the National Police Corps of Alcantarilla, Alberto Juan Benavente-García and the lieutenant commander of the Civil Guard Headquarters based in Las Torres de Cotillas, Alejandro Gomez and the representation of our City Council, with the Councilors of Public Safety, Juan Antonio Mata, the Citizen Participation, Juan Manuel Gómez and the accidental chief officer of the Local Sewer Police, Bartolomé Mayol, together with other components

After the approval of the minutes of the previous session, the coordination of the security device that has been prepared by the Local Police and Civil Protection was studied for the upcoming Sewer parties, taking into account more than twenty-five major events that take place during the same, greater attention in those events of greater agglomeration of people in the enclosure of parties and fair of children's attractions, to be able to take into account the number of cash with which it counts, to know the evacuation plans and always counting on the excellent and necessary collaboration of the National Police, Civil Guard and Local Police, joining them the Civil Protection and Spanish Red Cross.
As for the National Police, it is expected to improve the number of agents who are already expected to be in their usual service, both uniformed and civilian, also having response units, with specific material to combat a terrorist threat.
Specifically, the National Police will have the unit of the UPR, with a team of 5 agents, as well as the Canine Guide Unit, for surveillance and security tasks, together with a team of National Police Agents in the prevention of the crimes against the patrimony.
In the Local Safety Board also realized the publication next week, in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, the Order of the Ministry of Presidency, which is temporarily extended the closing hours of public facilities and end of shows and parties in the municipality of Alcantarilla, after the request made by the Town Hall of Sewer, on the occasion of the celebration of their holidays, public establishments and recreational activities, popular festivals and other activities, duly authorized, may remain open, extending its closing hours on the schedule regulated in the aforementioned Circular 2/94 of the Government Delegation establishing the closing hours for public establishments, shows and parties: until 05:00 in the morning of the days 19, 21, 25 and 28 of May of 2018, and - until 06:00 o'clock in the morning of the days 20, 26 and 27 of May
of 2018.
