The Sewer PSOE launched yesterday a photographic exhibition dedicated to the poet Miguel Hernández oriolano will remain open in the Casa del Pueblo (Calle Mayor, 129) until 14 May.
The opening ceremony was conducted by the Secretary of Culture of the Local Group, José Antonio Sabater, together with representatives of Orihuela 2m10, Cultural Association owns the show.
"Imagining Miguel" is a photo exhibition inspired by the work of the poet.
The collection includes works of different authors who created pictures inspired by the poems of Miguel Hernández.
The book provides a colorful game, which blends poetry and framed photographs, reflects everyday places and offers visitors the aesthetic pleasure of imagining Miguel Hernandez, and the moral satisfaction of recovery.
A group of youths were responsible Sewer reciting some of the best known poems of Miguel Hernández.
The emotional highlight of the evening came when two girls performed the "Andaluces de Jaen" to the sound of the guitar, which started a fierce applause.
The event was attended by a hundred people, among which were the regional deputy Lola Hernández, Orihuela representatives or 2m10, Ana Mas and Amparo Pomares.
The closing ceremony was done by the Secretary General of the Local Group, Alfonso Martínez.
The exhibition will be open from 10am to 13 and from 18 to 20:30 in the House of the People of sewers, 129 Main Street, where he remained until 14 May.
