Today starts the course Alcantarilla Equal Opportunities, totally free, to be held on 12, 17 and 19 November, involving a total of 20 women, whose contents include: discrimination on grounds of gender, sexual division of labor, domestic violence, reconciliation of working life, etc.
Today at the end of this first day of operation at 13:30 hours the Deputy Mayor for Health, Social Services, Immigrant Women, Monica Garcia, will come to convey the congratulations and gratitude to these women participating in the Course who has had a flood of requests, pending for the completion of another in the not too distant future.
This workshop is sponsored by the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia and the City Sewer.
The completion schedule is from 10:00 hours to 13:30 hours and the place chosen to develop the same is the Youth House, located on Main Street, 214 of our town.
The City Sewer, involved in the growing awareness and public awareness on this matter, has chosen this course aware of the barriers that remain to achieving full equality between men and women.
