In the morning the General Director of Innovation and Attention to Diversity, the Ministry of Education and Universities, Ana Millán, visited our town, first for receiving the agreement that the City Sewer, renews the transfer demaniales to the Ministry of Education and Universities of Murcia goods, to teach classes both the Adult Education Center, located in Juan de la Cierva in our town as well as a classroom at the Cultural Center and another in the Youth House.
The Director General, accompanied by the Mayor and the Councillor for Education, Juan Manuel Gomez turned a visit to the Centre for Continuing Adult Education, where they were received by the Director, Ana Maria Martinez and the same management team.
There they had the opportunity to visit classrooms where courses in Basic Training Hairdressing and Administrative Services are offered, as well as the Secondary Adult Education and Computer Workshop (Office), where students were in full practice hairdressing and computer in preparing a calendar in Excel tables.
They were able to check in important work and effort that they all develop these students as volunteers, some in search of a job and other to get training and knowledge to develop in your daily life.
These studies together with the University Access and the Access to Higher Level Training Cycles, are held in the classrooms of the Center located on the street Juan de la Cierva Sewer.
In the classroom which is transferred in the "Infanta Elena" Cultural Center, the Spanish courses for foreigners and in the classroom of the House of Youth, the Development of Basic Skills are taught.
Both the Mayor of Sewell, Joaquín Buendía, as the General Director of Innovation and Attention to Diversity, agreed in pointing out the effort and the excellent work that the Center conducts with a magnificent address on the same through the new Director, Ana Maria Martinez, continuing and praising the achievements of the previous director, Jose Martinez, retired when he ended last year, after leading in the same since 1991-92, a lifetime of twenty four school years.
And the importance of teaching carried out fourteen teachers, with a management team committed to carrying out the various courses of the training and always open to continue assessing new studies addressing new trade services, according to the needs of moments and our town.
Buendia said that "it is important to work offered to adults in our town, a center that has always been a reference to the regional level, these 14 teachers and 445 students in the different training offers they have. The Director General said that the agreement will sign the Minister of Education and Universities, "commits us to send the teachers required to provide such training offer aimed at adults, and as we have been doing for so many years and to take academic and administrative management. It also commits us to ensure the town of Sewell an offer of education adequate to the demand adult and existing needs in the context of the overall planning of these lessons for the whole community. Today I I have seen an excellent team of professionals with a tremendously ambitious director in getting new courses for new training and where I also pointed out certain deficiencies that have, to be studied by the Directorate General and from the Ministry itself to achieve have deals too a fully adequate to the needs of teachers and students' center.
