The Ministry of Presidency Sewer begins today in the information campaign 'I, European citizen' to inform young people about the European Union, their rights as European citizens and the policies developed in the region, in order to promote a more active and European participatory.

The Director General of the European Union Foreign Affairs, Carmen Sandoval, the director general of the Gender Violence Prevention, Youth, Legal Protection and Juvenile Court, Veronica Lopez and Sewer Mayor Lazaro Mellado, today introduced this municipal campaign with which they start the fifteenth edition of 'Young October'.

Through lectures, documentaries and Mobile Classroom, the campaign 'I, European citizens' shows citizens Sewer what it means to be a citizen of the EU to strengthen the feeling of belonging to European citizens in a common European future, and the future of the European Union in response to the challenges and common interests.

The initiative, aimed at high school students from schools in the county, as well as for Vocational Training and Higher, is part of the development of 'Young October' campaign that the Council aims to promote and encourage associations and youth participation in Sewell.
