The Portal of Transparency of Alcantarilla City Hall has received the second prize of the III Awards for Innovation and Good Practices granted by the Autonomous Community, through the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration.

The prize has been collected by the Councilor for Education, Modernization and Participation, Juan Manuel Gómez, at the event held in the Regional Archive.

The event was chaired by Fernando López Miras, President of the Government of the Region of Murcia and the Minister of Finance and Public Administration, Andrés Carrillo González.

The Transparency Portal was launched in December 2015, in compliance with the Transparency Law, with the Office of Citizen Participation and Transparency in charge of updating its content.

Prizes that try to publicly acknowledge the effort in improving the public services that are provided to the citizen in the regional administration, public universities and municipalities, while emphasizing the commitment of public employees for the quality and improvement Of services.

Gómez, in his speech, said that "this award is the recognition of the great work developed by the Office of Citizen Participation and Transparency that, with its great work, is getting all areas of the City are aware of the importance of Transparency and participation of the same.This award is the entire City Council, extending the same to all workers of the same "

The awards recognize those outstanding initiatives in the regional administration, municipalities and public universities set up by administrative units, departments, management centers and other types of entities.
