Once again the Swimming Federation of the Region of Murcia, elects the sports facilities of the Municipal Covered Swimming Pool and the Swimming Club Alcantarilla, as organizing club, for the celebration this morning of the XXXVedición of the Trophy "Enrique García Villalba", test programmed within the Calendar of the Federation.
Last October 22 the Federation also held in this same facility the XIX Trophy "Committee of Arbitrators", with a large participation of clubs and swimmers.
The competition began at nine o'clock in the morning and near noon the trophies were presented to the winners of the various events, with the presence of the Councilor for Sports and Youth, Antonio Martinez, the president of the Federation, Francisco Domínguez, the president of the Alcantarilla Swimming Club, Pilar Zuriaga and as a special guest Mr. Enrique García Villalba, in whose honor this competition takes place.
The particularity of this competition consists in that it is disputed individual tests of breasts, to finish with a relief 8x50 free, both male and female.
The participant categories have been from prebenjamines to absolute and master.
About 400 swimmers and swimmers belonging to 16 clubs in the Region, including the Alcantarilla Swimming Club with more than 30 participants, have competed in the different events and categories throughout this morning event.
