Sewer receive the Seal Infoparticipa 2016, along with three other municipalities in the region of Murcia, transparency of local public communication (21/10/2016)

This Stamp Infoparticipa is granted as a result of the study conducted, in which the transparency of municipal websites is assessed through 52 indicators, adapted to the Transparency Act, of which the City Sewer turns 50, ranking above of this 90%, which is the barrier that has to obtain the highest distinction, in this first edition have obtained, Cartagena (100%), Sewer (96.1%), Lorquí (94%) and San Pedro del Pinatar.

Mentions have been granted to the municipalities of Las Torres de Cotillas and Mula (both with 84.62%).

While recognition has gone to the consistory of Bullas (69%), Cieza (61%), White (59.62%), Torre-Pacheco (59.62%) and Calasparra (52%).

Infoparticipa Map is a tool that has been promoting the LPCCP UAB since 2012 to promote transparency and quality of information from local authorities.

The current version, improved technically and that includes the history of all the assessments made, it has been developed with the support of two R & D + I projects funded by the MINECO, under the coordination of two research teams led by Professor Emeritus of Department of Journalism at the UAB, Amparo Moreno Sardà, and professor at the University of Castilla la Mancha, Juan Luis Manfredi.

So far they have been made in the region of Murcia two evaluations of the websites of the 45 municipalities.

The first, before the municipal elections of May 24, 2015, with 41 indicators.

And the second, with 52 indicators adapted to the Transparency Law, the analysis was conducted in early 2016 and has been updated September.

The responsible party has been formed by professors from the Faculty of Communication and Information at the University of Murcia (Rocío Zamora), and faculty of the School of Communication at the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM) (Enrique Arroyas, Celia Berná and Pedro Luis Perez), who have made the two assessments.
