Izquierda Unida Sewer presents a partial amendment of addition to a motion filed by the PSOE (05/07/2010)

Sewer IU proposed in the plenary session on Thursday on 01 July that relevant projects are developed to attempt to reconcile personal, work and family in accordance with the Resolution of June 16, 2010 from the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, in which subsidies are called for this object of genuine need for the families of Sewell.

These grants are directed to the municipalities of the Region with a budget of € 618,000, of which 80% are from European Social Funds and the remaining 20% were seeking the autonomous region, and are designed to projects to April 30, 2011 and are aimed at projects such as schools, summer school, school transport, childcare, etc.

Therefore, since IU is considered necessary and urgent, especially in the situation where there is the City of Sewell, to get these grants to ensure the welfare of the residents of Sewer and especially to act on behalf of a real personal reconciliation, work and family.

The Popular Party and in particular the City Council of Social Services, José Andrés Alvarez, as the Councillor for Education, María Dolores Gálvez, were against this amendment in addition as well as the motion presented by the PSOE, supporting the creation of summer schools in the public schools and also Sewer fully rejected the call for such grants.

Once again one can see the personal interests of the government team that does not move a finger for the public schools of the municipality to promote the school as usual concerted private-Samaniego, which is the only one who can offer summer school.
