The City Council has convened the III edition of the Alcantarilla Youth Awards to recognize the active participation of young people in initiatives and actions aimed at the development of young people.
Two modalities will be distinguished, Participation Prize, and Youth of the Year Award, in recognition of the relevant performance of a young person in cultural, social, artistic or scientific matters.
Youth entities and entities providing youth services in the municipality and schools may propose candidates for the awards.
In addition, the Department of Education, Culture and Youth may submit proposals based on suggestions that citizens send to the email informajoven@ayto-alcantarilla.es.
The deadline for submission will be fifteen business days, starting tomorrow, as the bases have been published today at www.alcantarilla.es.
Applications will be submitted electronically.
The jury will be chaired by the Mayor and made up of technicians from the Department of Education, Culture and Youth, and representatives of youth associations, the Directorate General of Youth and educational centers of the municipality.
The ruling will be known throughout 2020.
