The advisor of the acting Presidency, Pedro Rivera, and the acting Mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, visited today the works that are carried out to improve the environment of the Ethnological Museum of La Huerta and restore the aqueduct and Wheel of the Noria, in Sewer.
The actions are based on the adaptation of the green area, of approximately 32,000 square meters, through the construction of playgrounds for children, recreation areas or outdoor activities for young people and the formation of an amphitheater that promotes activities in the municipality .
Likewise, it is foreseen the adaptation or improvement of the recreational area annexed to the Museum of the Huerta, with an area of ​​1,950 square meters, with the aim of transforming it into a multidisplinar space lúdico-cultural.
The investment of the Community, through the Works and Services Plan, is about half a million euros.
