The current Secretary General of Podemos in the municipality of Alcantarilla, and councilor in the municipality since 2015, Arcadio Martínez has won the primary process with 93% of the votes of those who have elected him as head of the list to attend the municipal elections of May 2019.
The process of elementary for the election of the candidate for Podemos by Alcantarilla to the next May elections has been done in person since last Friday 1 and has concluded this Sunday day 3.
Arcadio Martínez thanked the participation and support of the militants of the training in Sewell, and said that now has an important challenge ahead: "carry out the project so that one of the most important municipalities in the Region as is Alcantarilla out of the hole where they have put the 24 years of government of the PP, which have been an economic ruin and serious shortcomings in cleaning and social rights.
Finally, he stressed that "the immediate challenge is to return the City Council to its legitimate owners, the residents of Alcantarilla".
To do so, it will be supported at the top of the list by a team of men and women of varied professional profiles.
