Francisco Saavedra was elected last night by acclamation Socialist candidate to the Alcantarilla de Alcantarilla in the upcoming May elections.
The proclamation took place in an assembly held in the socialist group of this municipality, which involved more than one hundred members and attended by the secretary general of the PSRM-PSOE and candidate for the Presidency of the Community, Diego Conesa, accompanied by the deputy secretary general, Francisco Lucas;
the secretary of Organization, Jordi Arce, and the secretary of Municipal Policy and regional deputy, Alfonso Martínez Baños.
Saavedra has a PhD in Chemical Sciences and has worked for many years as director of the School of Training and Innovation of the Public Administration of the Region of Murcia and as inspector of Education.
The general secretary of the PSRM, Diego Conesa, highlighted the absolute support and enthusiasm of all the companions of the Sewer Association with the candidate, while ensuring that "we are prepared to recover this City Council and Francisco Saavedra is next mayor to carry out the necessary change in Alcantarilla ".
