Agents of the Local Sewer Police will be in charge of the safety and traffic device for the II edition of the San Silvestre of this city that will take place on Sunday December 23 through the most central streets.

Likewise, the rounds of Avda. Príncipe will be adequately marked so that circulation retains the minimum time essential for the passage of athletes.

On the other hand, the urban public transport will be restricted during the development of the race, being restored at the end of the race.

AGENTS OF THE LOCAL POLICE OF SEWER HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE CAMPAIGN OF SURVEILLANCE AND CONTROL OF ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS THAT ORGANIZES THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF TRAFFIC AT NATIONAL LEVEL AND THAT DEVELOPED FROM 10 TO 16 DECEMBER IN DIFFERENT PUBLIC WAYS OF THIS CITY.

Agents of the Local Sewer Police have participated in the Campaign for Surveillance and Control of Alcohol and other drugs organized by the General Directorate of Traffic at a national level and that took place from December 10 to 16 on different public roads in this city.

It is evident that alcohol and drugs are not only related to greater accidents, but also that they have an impact on mortality.

The percentage of drivers with positive alcohol test increases with the lesividad of the driver, from 7% in unharmed drivers to 26% in deceased drivers.

Another interesting fact is that 74% of the positive tests performed on drivers who died in traffic accidents presented a rate higher than three times the maximum rate.

Therefore, police control aims to prevent driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal drugs.

An increase in the number of police controls entails a reduction in the number of accidents with victims.

THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE LOCAL SEWER POLICE DESIGN AND SET UP A CITIZEN SECURITY PREVENTION PLAN FOR THE NEXT CHRISTMAS PARTIES THAT WILL BRING TO THE STREET A LOT OF NEIGHBORS AND VISITORS TO ENJOY THE ACTS ORGANIZED BY THE CITY HALL OF THIS CITY.
