At noon yesterday it was inaugurated, in front of the Taqueria La Katrina (the winning establishment of the route of the tapa last year and that opened its doors after a remodeling and expansion of the premises), the 7th Tapa Route and the Sewer Cocktail , organized by the Association of Merchants of Sewer, with the sponsorship of the City Council, through the Department of Employment, Industry, Trade and Environment, Estrella de Levante and the collaboration of Balneario de Archena y Yudel.
It will take place on the next three weekends on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from October 12 to 28.
In this edition, 21 hotel establishments in the municipality participate.
19 of them competing in the top and 3 in the cocktail.
At the inauguration were present the Mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía and the Councilor for Employment, Industry, Trade and Environment, José Antonio López Olmedo, together with the president of the Association of Sewer Merchants, Lola Cánovas Ponce, Rodi Fernández chef from La Cava de Royán who will be a member of the jury and recently awarded in the Iberian Passion Tapas Contest in San Sebastián Gastronomika and the Mexican Jorge Mendoza owner of La Katrina, as well as representatives of participating establishments, sponsors and collaborators.
In the same we had Mexican music with the group of El Gallo de México, Jorge Torres and the Batukada that during these three weekends will accompany the seventh route.
The establishments each have personalized schedules in this 7th Tapa Route and the Sewer Cocktail.
The Adolfo Suárez information point will be open from Friday to Sunday from 12:00 to 21:00.

The tapas and cocktails presented to the contest, will always be the same in each establishment, with the cover a single price of € 2.50 (including a drink always a fifth of Estrella de Levante beer) and € 3.50 for the cocktail.
In this seventh Tapa Route and the Sewer Cocktail, a total of 21 establishments participate, for the 19th and 3rd covers for the cocktails, repeating one of them in tapa and cocktail.
A Batukada tour three days, on 14, 21 and 28 October, the different establishments, having the kids the opportunity of inflatables with children's games in the different squares of our city, in Adolfo Suarez on 14, 21 and 28 October, Bohemia on the 12th, on the Cascales on the 13th, Our Lady of Lourdes on the 14th, on the Immaculate on the 20th, on the Air at San Roque on the 21st, on the Constitution on the 27th and on the Three Cultures on October 28th.
The prizes provided by the organizers are: The height of the winner in beer;

Gift card of the Merchants' Association for a value of € 100;

Trade Fair
As a novelty this year the Association of Sewer Merchants has organized, thus increasing the interest of all those who visit us, the Day Trade Fair. In it, local shops of all sectors will set up their tent in the Plaza Adolfo Suárez on Sunday, October 21, having planned a participation that will exceed twenty local businesses.
In this fair the establishments will show seasonal novelties, outlet offers, new trends and exclusive offers for that day.
